Found the game Accursed lately, and while it looked fun, it involved obtaining and reading three books to run it, and even then it was in Savage World. So I gathered what information I could, threw together something in Wushu and made it into a Ye Olde Hellboy, or overly simplified “The Pope’s personal monster hit squad.”
The Party:
Redeye, The Gillman. Ancient and amphibious fishman of action. Pulled out of his swamp and studied a few years by The Order until they struck a deal: he could leave his cage so long as his strength and skills were applied to missions for The Order.
Tor, The Boogeyman. A bulky, bandaged up humanoid and embodiment of all your fears. Always right behind you (when he feels like it). Real nice guy, except for his seeing and eating your fears, and being far worse than you can imagine.
Lenny, The Ghost. A former mobster nicknamed “the ghost” because you’d never know he was there (also because he’s dead). He was tossed back in time by the “ghost witness protection program,” where he serves The Order as their laid back, semicorporeal spook/spook.
In the world of Accursed, the early 1800s were plagued by an invasion of witches. A handful of them caused worldwide horror and death, between their vast magical power and creating great forces of monsters. Armies of iron men, walking dead hordes, patchwork chimeras of beast and men. The Catholic church adapted itself into the driving force behind humanity’s war; gathering and sharing intel, defending those that couldn’t help themselves, and to their surprise, discovering monsters in the armies that could think and choose not to serve the witches.
Due to infighting among the witches, the persistence of humans, and the spreading out of their motives and forces, the witches suddenly vanished from the world. They still left behind their armies, allies, curses, and other abominations. The party is among the elite few of the Order of St Vitus, the secretive force at the center of the church left cleaning up the witches’ lingering taint to give the world some semblance of what it once was.

The finale of the bigfoot conflicts! With a strange new girl in tow and a possibility of peace at hand, the kids put the last few pieces together. It just nearly kills them all and requires them to explain a complex sport to manbeasts. And what’s one to do with ties
Toku: Richie, the static-charged kid that shocks all he touches and is big on pokemon
Crazon: Danny, a bit more down to earth kid and alien test subject with the power to shapeshift himself to mimic other people or grow pointy bits

The kids get their Sportsball/aliens plan in full gear, at least until they reach the wendigos. That’s when complications arise, like the wendigos loving war, the issues of sharing food, and a third human stuck in the valley of the manbeasts.

Yeti Wars part 2 is up. Looks like we’re going for 3-parter, as the kids start some drama of their own, go back on their original plan on how to resolve the issue between the races of manbeasts (aka bigfoots), compete in tests of strength and skill with the yetis and skunkapes, and learn how to crash a motorboat. All without even reaching the finale.

A pair of weird kids go to the California Bigfoot Museum, where they find an apathetic guide, a far too enthused speaker, and… portals. and even more bigfoots than expected
