(Snuffed Playtest) Pope’s Monster Hit Squad – Klowns of Kingsbog

Mission 1: The Klowns of Kingsbog

Kingsbog is a little town east of Caldreton, out in the Grey woods. It’s a lumber and fishing town that started reporting disappearances a few days ago but recently the missing have returned with no memory of what happened. On top of this, it seems they’ve been followed back by some pale and decorated carnival folk, clowns basically just stalking about in the outlying woods and getting uncomfortably close to people’s homes. They’ve called the Order in to investigate.

(Snuffed Playtest) Pope’s Monster Hit Squad – Klowns of Kingsbog (Character Creation)

In the dreadful and dreary lands of the southern Lodern Mountain kingdoms, where fears are real and threaten the people who would make these cliffs and valleys their home. Monsters come out to play from long gone sources of terror and evil, and the people called out for aid. They found it in the Holy Order of Backlot led by a pragmatic Pope and his recruited Monster Hit Squad initiative. Fighting fire with fire, the order has made deals with devils for redemption and forgiveness on monstrous actions. They have hired monsters to hunt down worst monsters, necessary evils. These are the missions of the Pope’s Monster Hit Squad.

(This is both character creation and a fair amount of side chatter)
