(Snuffed Playtest) Pope’s Monster Hit Squad – Klowns of Kingsbog (Character Creation)

In the dreadful and dreary lands of the southern Lodern Mountain kingdoms, where fears are real and threaten the people who would make these cliffs and valleys their home. Monsters come out to play from long gone sources of terror and evil, and the people called out for aid. They found it in the Holy Order of Backlot led by a pragmatic Pope and his recruited Monster Hit Squad initiative. Fighting fire with fire, the order has made deals with devils for redemption and forgiveness on monstrous actions. They have hired monsters to hunt down worst monsters, necessary evils. These are the missions of the Pope’s Monster Hit Squad.

Wrongclocks – Mithril Chef Pt 1

Dungeon World game set in a world where monster cuisine is creating a
huge subculture. Every year, the fat and wealthy king holds a cooking
tournament with some odd rules and amazing rewards:
-the tournament takes place inside Zelgig’s Cabinet, the colossal food cupboard of some
forgotten god or wizard where everything has become huge and deadly.
Deserts of scalding pizza, oceans of soup with giant, hungry tuna fish,
and honey bears made of actual honey.

-members can enter as parties or teams of chefs, warriors, sauciers, waiters and the like

-the best dish matching the king’s requested themes is the winner
-all cooking has to be done with whatever you can obtain or kill for yourself

-once you’re inside, anything between the parties is fair game
so when a monster hunter (Alex), a fire mage (Sean), and their replaceable minion of an
appliance (Eli) enter Zelgig’s Cabinet, they’ll have to survive long enough to
make a tasty dish. Sort of Toriko meets Cloudy With A Chance of
Meatballs

Fulci Glen Inquest – Character Creation

You went to sleep and as the darkness of blissful oblivion encompassed you, a series of sounds were heard. “1-0-6-5-Z-M-B-I-…” repeated over and over by a deep synthetic voice with calliope music. You opened your eyes to find yourself not in your bed but a very new and wrong setting. You weren’t able to leave this dream no matter how many nights you’ve tried. That’s either your story or the story your folks told you in the survivalist holdouts scattered around. Welcome to Muerto Perdidos Island, don’t mind the locals… only some bite.

This is the pre-game Character creation and some chatter for the game, which is a campaign inspired by “Zombies of the World” by Ross Payton.

“Classic” Chris – GM

Aaron – Niles (the Spellslinger) A man with a mysterious past and a gift for the arcane. He can’t remember where he came from, only that he’s wandered the island a while now.

Tyler – Kramer-O (the Crooked) A thief and criminal who woke up here, possibly trading one underworld for another. He has an ancient imp stone relic that talks to him, a battle van, connection with survivor groups and an intimidating demeanor.

“Crystal” Chris – Crash (the Wronged) (Appears in Session 2) He woke up here with his wife and brother, when scoping out a medical center, his addict brother took the wrong drugs, reanimated, killed Crash’s wife in his undead state and escaped. Broken, looking for revenge and wielding a homemade flamethrower.
