MaOCT: Mumble Road Trip Session 2

Beheading Cool Rat, or Uncivil Engineer
Sucrose Park and Sunny Vale. The kids wind up in Cool Rat’s play prison, and don’t hesitate to raise some ruckus and make a few friends. After that, it’s off to Sunny Vale, to rob a diner, rob a mechanic, do a B&E on Zoltron and jump to a few conclusions.

MaOCT: Mumble Road Trip Session 1

between some spare time and the urge to run it anyway, started up our own version of Road Trip with Freepork and Librarydan

Rachel and Dorothy: the third wheel popular girl, closet geek. Dorothy is her bus-sized granny spider with knitting needle legs

Lee and Matryoshka Doll: dirty-fighting kid way into modern tech, video games, and zombies (mostly killing them). His monster is a series of wooden dolls inside eachother vying for position based on the Crone (a bully of a witch), Mother (stern and bossy figure), Maiden (singing and prancing naive girl), and Child (big-eyed baby who speaks in racist Russian)

Little Fears: Wicked Child

Charlie ran a 4 person Little Fears scenario he is putting together. Here it is.

Synopsis: Members of the school’s occult club try and find a subject for their Nature project.

Nate – Ariannah: 12 year old witch. Lives in the state home, has experience with Closetland. Maker of love potions and other varied brews.
Clockwurke Bear – Alice: 11 year old sticker-fiend. A little chubby and eccentric but that hasn’t stopped her from making friends with everyone she’s ever met.
Sniper Mojimi – Isaac: 11 year old tinkerer. Isaac lost his arm when he was little and now has an anatomically correct metallic arm sans skin.
Juju-Monster-Man – Beaux: 11 year old robo-mancer. Trying to find the ghosts that linger after a robot dies. Can bring electronics back from the dead.

Gobblin’ Beta Test: Kings of the Rings

2nd playtest of Gobblin’, my homebrew set in a post-apocolypse Earth where goblins were recently banished by the more advanced races. Three particular outcasts are drafted into a supposedly legendary quest, causing mayhem along the way for their own party and everyone they find on the way

Cast:
Eli: Kaczka. The jaded, grouchy healer. Constantly drinking, judging you, or stealing your shit.
Rocheford: Bukkitz. Big-dreaming tinker who hopes to become an adventurer like his heroes in his treasured cyberpunk novels. Wears a trashcan with wires attached to it. To make it cyber.
Chris: Nekd chris/unitomega. Generally fearless lunatic with the dress and mannerisms of Hunter S. Thompson

Wild Talents: Tokusatsu Ep 5 – Hair of the Dog (Part 3)

Keith pulls a bigger Jesus, eyes make the best force shields, Richard needs a bathroom, and hospitals are overrated. Also there’s a fight somewhere in there. Alternate title: The dogs maul Keith…again.

Wild Talents: Tokusatsu Ep 4: Hair of the Dog (Part 2)

Alternately titled “Anyways, the game” or “Weekend at Denny’s”.
The team finally gets some direction from Atlantis, Keith’s sister gets the wrong idea, Keith feels all the guilt, Denny’s is a restaurant, Basky isn’t a wolf, and Richard commits a 602 (m). Also wet dicks and racist grandparents. It was a wild night…

Wild Talents – Tokusatsu Ep 3: Hair of the Dog (Part 1)

Everybody recovers from fighting the snake lady, meets the monsters of their dreams, and gets formally inducted to the ranks of Imagicorp. Basky makes a mess of everything, and Atlantis suffers from a chicken shortage. Prepare for little editing, lack of sleep, and much dicking around.

Wild Talents – Tokusatsu Ep 2: Legends Begun

Turns out the museum wasn’t so taken care of after all. The gang heads back to play pest control and find a lost little girl. On the way they pick up a fourth member, everyone goes medieval, and Keith loses all motor functions. All in all a successful? endeavor.

Wild Talents – Tokusatsu Ep 1: Legends Awakened

Everything was wonderful in Sunset View. And then sexy burglers attacked the museum, armbands gave kids (and a janitor) superpowers, and not the government hired them to fight shadows.

MaOCT – Young Monsters

a few months back, a few of us got together and started up a teen superteam game in the spirit of the Pop Music Changes Everything game (Young Justice with weird kids). Haven’t played in a long time due to schedule whackiness, but we managed to edit up some of the episodes. #1 for ya down there

Players: characters
Josh: Beatrix. a clever girl who got out of a terminal disease by learning to bind and command demons into battle
Callum: Felix “The Phoenix.” Excitably drama club kid, also saved from a terminal disease by a pact with Ra the sun god, who can turn him into a firey birdman
Claes: Emily “The Beast.” A werehyena and rebellious tough girl
Eli: Bones. Indifferent gambler, won the magical dice of The Lady herself, causing random chaos to effect his foes based on their results.
Alex: Raphael “Raspiel.” Cursed to be the antichrist, but blessed and guarded by an angel. Still a good-natured kid, despite his cultist parents.
Travis: Chloe “The Plant.” Kooky creepy girl, big on playing with movie makeup and special affects for no reason. Is slightly green due to her questionable bond to a haunted marsh and her power to talk to plants.
Sean: DM/Kenny “Creepy Crawly.” Football jock who can turn into a swarm of insects as a defense mechanism
Me: Tina “Turtle Power.” Hyper half-Asian girl trained in Inhuman martial arts by horrifically mutated radioactive turtles.
Me, take 2: Cassie “Queen Coffin.” Popular girl and former cheerleader, having to drop out to hide the fact that she’s a recently dead zombie. Will KILL you if you tell anyone!

I didn’t show up until parts 2 and 3, and Sean ran this one, so our characters don’t appear at first. There’s some mention of them early on though, though, so listed them to avoid confusion. I also couldn’t make up my mind for ages on my final character, to test ran each of them in the two sessions I was in
